    XANA has become more powerful- with new enemies and the ability to possess Humans on Earth to wreak havoc. X.A.N.A is looking to steal Aelita’s memory so it can find the key to escaping from the Supercomputer and Lyoko and invade the Digital Network. Our heroes Sector Five. This seems to be the heart of XANA, and by exploring it they find ways to access programs and data about their enemy. Back on Earth, Aelita becomes a Boarder at the school but finds it hard to fit in. She has troubling dreams and visions. Aelita stumbles upon a key which in turn leads to the discovery of Franz Hopper’s dairies on CD ROM. Franz Hopper used to be a teacher in the College Unfortunately the diaries are encoded, so Jeremy sets about decoding them.At the end of Season two, Jeremy gains access to Franz Hopper’s diaries and discovers that Aelita needs to find a hidden fragment of her memory in Sector Five before she can be free of Lyoko. He also discovers that Aelita is in fact Franz Hopper’s daughter, and that he hid them both in Lyoko to escape from the sinister Men in Black who were working for the military. The Lyoko Warriors eventually find the fragment of Aelita’s memory in Sector Five, but when she recovers it, it turns out to be a trap set by XANA. He uses the Scyphozoa to steal Aelita’s memory completely and find the key to escape from Lyoko and enter the Worldwide Digital Network.All seems lost, as Aelita lies dead in the also dead Lyoko and XANA has escaped. But then, Franz Hopper, who is still living in Lyoko somewhere, brings her and the virtual world back to life.
